交流外电场下神经元模型的不同适应性机制分析

摘要: 外电场会对神经系统的动力学行为和信息处理过程产生影响,但其机制尚不明确。放电频率适应性是神经元动力学的一个显著特征,它在神经系统的信息处理过程中起到了重要的作用。为了研究放电频率适应性的机制,以及不同机制之间的对比,基于线性积分放电(LIF)神经元模型,建立了在交流外电场作用下改进的LIF适应性模型。通过分析不同机制模型的放电序列,初始和稳态放电频率曲线,发现LIFAC机制的放电频率曲线向高输入方向水平右移,且保持斜率不变,LIFDT机制的放电频率曲线呈发散状,斜率递减。在固定频率的交流外电场作用下,稳态放电频率曲线呈线性。另外通过对噪声下放电峰峰间期的相关性和变异性分析,进一步阐明外电场对不同机制适应性的影响。

Abstract: External electric field has an effect on neuronal dynamics and neuronal information processing, but its mechanism is unknown. Spike-frequency adaption is a prominent feature of neuronal dynamics that plays an important role in neuronal information processing. In order to investigate the different mechanisms of spike-frequency, based on the leaky integrate-and-fire model (LIF model), two kinds of modified LIF models under external alternating electric field are established in this paper. By analyzing the spiking trains, the curves of the onset spike frequency and the curves of the spike frequency of the steady state, different effects induced by the adaption under external alternating electric field are shown in this paper. The LIFAC shifts the frequency curves to higher inputs without affecting its slope. On the other hand, the LIFDT has a divisive effect on the frequency curves. The spike frequency of the steady state is linear under the external alternating electric field. The correlation and the variability between consecutive interspike intervals (ISIs) are also studied to furthermore illustrate the effects of external alternating electric field on different kinds of adaption mechanisms.
