中国家族企业二代亲缘关系对企业战略变革影响研究

Influence of the Second Generation Kinships of Chinese Family Businesses on Entrepreneurial Strategic Changes

摘要: 家族二代与战略变革是影响家族企业基业长青的关键,但现有研究忽视远亲家族二代继任情况。利用2003—2018年已代际传承的中国上市家族企业数据,探讨不同亲缘关系家族二代对战略变革的异质性影响,研究表明:相对于远亲家族二代,近亲家族二代更倾向抑制战略变革;外部制度环境更完善的地区对上述关系有负向调节作用,直接创办型家族企业对上述关系有正向调节作用。以差序格局理论和社会情感财富理论的整合视角解释不同亲缘关系家族二代对家族企业的异质性影响,丰富了家族企业传承方式和战略变革的相关研究。

Abstract: The second generation of families and strategic changes are important factors for the long-term foundation of family businesses. However, the existing research ignores the heterogeneous effects of the second generation of families with different kinships on family businesses. Taking the Chinese listed family enterprises which have entered the intergenerational succession stage from 2003 to 2018 as the sample, it is found that compared with the second generation of distant relative family members, the second generation of close relative family members are more inclined to restrain strategic changes. The areas with better external institutional environments have a negative regulatory effect on the above-mentioned relationship, and the directly established family business has a positive regulatory effect on the above-mentioned relationship. The heterogeneous influence of the second generation of different kinship families on family businesses is explained from the perspective of integrating the differential sequence pattern theory and the socioemotional wealth theory, which enriches the related research on the succession modes and strategic changes of family businesses.
