Abstract: Although government affairs microblogs are at their early development stage， the main features， underlying logics and mechanisms have manifested themselves. As the main participants of government affairs microblogs， the government， business operators and general users adopt different behavioral strategies， indicative of varied supporting mechanisms. For the governance transformation at its critical period， the development of government affairs microblogs on the one hand enhances the governments ruling resilience; on the other hand it challenges the current governance structure as well. To a certain degree， the development of government affairs microblogs provides a new channel for the mutualdiscipline between the government and the common people.
