Abstract: A trade and environment model from the perspective of intra-product specialization bases itself on the triple environmental effects of trade liberalization and takes export pollution level of pollution-intensive industry as the main subject. Based on the 1995-2009 panel data， this paper empirically studies export environmental effects of Chinas foreign trade in the context of international intra-product specialization， which is believed to reflect the effects of intra-product specialization on China foreign trade and environment. The results indicate that intra-product specialization can lower export pollution level of pollution-intensive industry， enhance the environmental and technological effects， and thus reduce export environmental costs under certain circumstances.
