On Social Identity of Chinas Educational Consumption

Abstract: The rise on educational consumption has become an important sign of Chinas economic and social development. Currently Chinese peoples investment in educational consumption is gaining more and more social identity; however, various potential crises do hide against Chinese peoples high social identity of educational consumption. Aimed at the actual situations of Chinas social identity of educational consumption, this paper first explores the important role Chinese peoples psychological behaviors play in Chinas economic development and social harmony from social, psychological and cultural perspectives, and then attempts to evaluate the rational and moderate development trend of Chinas educational consumption. Guiding Chinese people in formulating the concept of rational and moderate educational consumption could contribute favorably to the cultivation of talents and the healthy, harmonious as well as sustainable development of society.
