一种基于灰度投影的带钢表面缺陷检测算法

摘要: 根据带钢表面缺陷图像的特点提出了一种利用带钢图像的灰度投影进行带钢表面缺陷目标检测的一种算法.该算法首先是把带钢图像分别进行向下和向左的灰度投影,然后在此基础上计算出向下投影与向左投影的投影均值并分别找出其中的最大值与最小值,之后分别把它们做差,如果向下投影均值的差值和向左投影均值的差值中至少有一个超过了给定的阈值则认为图像存在缺陷,否则无缺陷.该算法在多次实验中都能够很成功地完成带钢表面缺陷目标检测的功能.

Abstract: According to the defect image characteristics on steel strip surface, a defect detection algorithm was proposed on the basis of grayscale projection, where the steel strip image was projected downward and leftward to find out the defects and their positions. The algorithm is easy to implement and the load to be computed is less. The results showed that the average time is about 20 sec to detect a steel strip image by using the proposed algorithm that can eliminate the serious dependence of choosing reference image on the image difference recognition methods and improve further the reliability and stability. The algorithm has succeeded in defect detection on steel strip surface in many experiments.
