Abstract: Investigates the production mode available to individualize the customized products, then puts forward an individualized customization system framework that is oriented toward networked manufacturing under the production of small batch even single piece, with the operation procedure of the system analyzed. In the system, Bayesian method is introduced to infer what state the design of a product is in when it is doing jointly by a client, designer and technologist at different places according to the prior knowledge they have grasped and relevant statistics. Java3D is used as a 3D display technique to generate 3D objects driven by design parameters input by client. The system software is developed by Java language according to the system transplantability and supporting network communication. Through such a system, clients and designers can customize jointly the products to meet customers' requirements.
