Abstract:

Quaternary mammalian fossils unearthed near north twenty town in Jianping , Chaoyang of Liaoning Province. According to analyzing ,it was the antler`s fossil of Megaceros and developed from the warm moisture steppe ecosystem , Cenozoic in Middle Pleistocene. The fossil was strong siliconized. Contrast regional stratigraphy with fossil , it formed in the early Pleistocene. The antler`s fossil was buried in loess soil. Loess was result of dry and cold conditions.So it had been warm and moisture,and became dry and cold after a period . Presumably mammal was affected by climate change and died out .
