Abstract: The stress-strain curves of EH36 ship plate steel were gained with MMS-200 thermo-mechanical simulator in the single-pass compress deformation test. The influence of deformation temperature, deformation rate and strain on recrystallization behavior was studied. The dynamic recrystallization model and the deformation resistance model were established for the steel. The results showed that the higher deformation temperature, the lower strain rate and the bigger strain are advantageous for dynamic recrystallization. The computed activation energies of dynamic recrystallization and deformation resistance are in good agreement with the measured data, showing the validity of the proposed models.
