Abstract:

General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of important remarks on promoting cultural self-confidence and self-strengthening， the logical basis of which is rooted in the rich historical and cultural soil of excellent traditional Chinese cultures， based on the scientific guidance of Marxist cultural theory and the inheritance and innovation of the Party’s cultural theory， and stemming from the urgent need to deal with the risks and challenges in the field of cultural construction. The value of its meaning lies in the fact that it can help to satisfy the diversified cultural needs of the people， realize the self-identity of the nation， maintain the social harmony and stability， and realize the country’s long-term progress. Its practical path lies in building a firm socialist ideology as a firm guide， focusing on the inheritance and innovation of traditional cultures as a solid pillar， innovating and optimizing the cultural industry as a driving force， and strengthening the exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations as an opportunity for development. Promoting cultural self-confidence and self-strengthening is of great significance to the development of the country and the nation.
