会话交际中的情绪研究:理据、路径与展望

Research on Emotions in Conversational Communication: Motivations, Paths and Prospects

摘要: 情绪不同于情感,具有短暂、强烈、依赖情境的特质,对会话发展产生重要的影响。会话交际中的情绪起到展现立场、充当社会信号和建构互动资源的作用。从主位角度出发,将情绪作为正式的研究对象,观察追踪互动过程中会话参与者如何利用和对待情绪,其意义在于更好分析情绪背后的社会行为,揭示会话交际的本质与规律。总体来看,考察会话情绪的路径主要包括对言语资源、韵律资源和具身资源的分析,同时可借助必要的现代技术和精密设备。

Abstract: In contrast to affect, emotion has the characteristics of being short-lived, strong, and situation-dependent, which influences the advancing of a conversation. Emotions in conversational communication play a role in showing positions, acting as social signals and constructing interactive resources. The significance of taking emotions as a focused research object based on an emic approach is to better analyze the social behaviors behind emotions and disclose the nature and law of conversational communication. Conversation analysts need to observe and track down how participants make use of or respond to emotions. In general, the approaches to explore emotions in conversation mainly include the analysis of verbal resources, prosodic resources and embodied resources, and resorting to modern technologies and equipment when necessary.
