Abstract: Although many a scholar and expert hold that projectbased learning is superior to the more traditional teaching and learning models, which can improve students learning motivation and enhance their learning achievement significantly, there is a severe shortage of research on projectbased L2 and FL education. Still limited research has presented PBL in the perspective of social constructivism. This study seeks to take social constructivism as the theoretical support and combines both qualitative and quantitative research methods, so as to pin down students satisfaction at learning achievement in the projectbased college English learning model. As the results of the questionnaire and the students selfreports indicate, this effective teaching and learning model tends to enhance students learning interest, satisfy their learning needs and desires, and help them acquire multiple learning achievements simultaneously, including language skills, subject contents and twentyfirst century skills.
