An improved differential evolution algorithm for reliability problems

摘要: 分析了经典差分进化算法的寻优特点,提出一种扩展变量维数的自适应差分进化算法.该算法将变异率作为解向量的一维分量,随其他分量一起参与算法进化的全过程,使算法参数更好地适应算法进化各阶段的要求,提高了算法性能.将改进后的算法应用到系统可靠性问题中,针对3种典型的可靠性问题进行了仿真实验.结果表明,所提出的算法与其他算法相比具有很好的寻优效果.

Abstract: Based on the classic differential evolution algorithm, an improved adaptive differential evolution algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm, the mutation rate is taken as a component of the solution space, varying with the evolving of the algorithm, so that the parameters of the algorithm can adapt well to the requirements of each stage in the evolution, thereby improving the performance of the algorithm. The algorithm was applied to system reliability analysis and the simulation analysis of three typical systems was performed. The result shows that the algorithm proposed has better optimization ability in comparison with relevant other algorithms.
