Abstract: The reliable placement of disk pole with actuator failure was discussed for the constant linear system with uncertainty. Based on a more common and actual model of actuator failure, the sufficient conditions were given to the reliable control when allocating the pole into an assigned circular disk. A reliable state-feedback controller was designed through solving linear matrix inequality. A simulation test was carried out to verify the practicability of such a design procedure. Compared with the system taking no account of failure and uncertain factor, the necessity of allocating reliably the pole to a system was proved further.
