Abstract: Because the 2.4m×2.4m wind tunnel is a multivariable-coupling system, the impact of a single control variable on the outputs cannot be obtain directly from the operating data. For this reason, the multivariable-coupling parametric model of the wind tunnel and filtering processing of the data with step response was proposed by the cubic spline interpolation method. The area method was applied to the parameter identification from the step response data of each channel, and the best model of each channel was determined by the root mean square error of different model orders. Wind tunnel experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
