Abstract: According to the mechanical characters of mineral, stochastic theory was used to set up a physical model about mineral moving. The mineral moving parameters without any boundary condition restrict and with the side port moving were measured. The shape of blasted ore-rock moving(drawn body) was researched. The results show that it is better to optimize the shape of ore-rock mass according to the structure parameter of the stope. The physical simulation can effectively reduce the ore dissipation and the ore dilution. The structure parameters of the stope disagreeing with the rule of broken ore-rock movement are the main factors of ore lose. Based on the simulation result in-spot, a new caving method without bottom pillar was used. It is shown that the ore lose was reduced effectively, the mineral resource was recovered and economic overall return was encouraging and satisfactory.
