Abstract: According to the match of hauling fleet and materials, the truck hauling of open-pit was divided into three types: integrated fleet haulage, independent fleet haulage and combined fleet haulage. The traffic flow characteristics of the most difficultly combined fleet haulage were analyzed, and the compatibility of both integrated fleet haulage and independent fleet haulage was considered, a traffic flow programming model was proposed to meet the various needs of matching material. The difference for the application of three models was discussed, and the computing steps and the method to improve computing speed were explained for the simplified model. The results not only showed the serviceability of the proposed model, but also proved that combined fleet haulage is more superiority in the situation where distance between ore-unloaded place and rock-loaded place or between rock-unloaded place and ore-loaded place is near. The model has practical value for evaluating and guiding traffic flow programming of open-pit mine.
