Abstract: The geology and geochemical characteristics of Jinchangyu gold deposit were studied, and the results of its fluid inclusions showed that the ore-forming fluid is a low salinities, medium to high temperature fluid, and the isotopic features display its deep-source characteristics. The study on trace element and REE demonstrated that gold mineralization excludes rare earth elements and, Bi can act as indicator for high grade ore. The genetic mechanism and occurrence characteristics of wide quartz veins and composite veins indicated that the ore bodies mainly occur in brittle structure-extruded schistosity zone, and the ore spatial distribution is controlled by ductile shear zone.
