Abstract: The innovative development and universal application of network media technology will accelerate the development process of media integration in the new era， promote the deep integration of new media and new technologies with ideological and political education in colleges and universities， and continuously promote the reform of ideological and political education model in colleges and universities. Under new situations and circumstances， it is necessary to grasp the evolution trend， basic characteristics， principle orientation and practical path of the integrated innovation of network media technology and ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era， explore the mode transformation of network media technology+ideological and political education， and actively build the concept， mechanism， system， carrier， method and discourse expression of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era in accordance with the development of network media technology in order to improve the quality and effect of fostering virtue through education， which can make the ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era always maintain vitality.
