Abstract: Taking the graduates of maritime majors as the research object， based on the common employability structure and professional abilities involved in sailor education and training， three first-class indicators including personal quality， basic ability and professional ability and 14 second-class indicators are constructed. Construct the evaluation system of employability of graduates majoring in navigation in line with the development and construction of shipping industry in the future. Form a scale based on the evaluation system， conduct a questionnaire survey on all kinds of navigation practitioners， and make a statistical analysis on the importance of graduates' various abilities and qualities and the performance degree under different background elements， and clearly put forward the optimization strategy of college graduates' employability with industry characteristics.
