Is Artificial Intelligencean Aspect-blind? Based on Wittgenstein's Philosophy of Perception
    LI Guoshan, YUAN Caiqiong
    2022, 24 (2):  1-7.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.001
    Abstract ( 226 )   HTML ( 7)   PDF (912KB) ( 312 )
Under the theme of aspect-perception, Wittgenstein uses the image of “aspect-blind” to respond to the issues of mind-body relations, other minds and whether artificial intelligence could think like human beings. It can be said that symbolic artificial intelligence is a typical image of the aspect-blind, it can only operate symbols according to formal rules, and lacks inner life and emotional experience. According to Wittgenstein's philosophy of perception, artificial intelligence, as an aspect-blind, faces fundamental difficulties in social interaction, cannot truly participate in language games, and can't share human beings' form of life. However, it remains an open question to what degree artificial intelligence could come closer to human intelligence.

Possibility of Rebuilding Environmental Ethics in the “Anthropocene”: Based on Latour's Interpretation of the Gaia Hypothesis
    TANG Xinghua, HU Yilin
    2022, 24 (2):  7-14.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.002
    Abstract ( 202 )   HTML ( 3)   PDF (951KB) ( 250 )
From the perspective of Latour, the fundamental way to alleviate the environmental crisis is not to incorporate nature into thinking but to re-examine the meaning of Anthropos and nature and explore the rationality of the relationship between these two aspects. The concept of “Anthropocene” refers to breaking and readjusting the boundary between humans and nature. The traditional environmental ethics is based on the dichotomy between humans and nature, which is unable to show the symbiotic and circular relationship between Anthropos and nature, and thus becomes the root of environmental problems. Meanwhile, Gaia, in Latour's sense, which refers to the dialectical symbiosis between Anthropos and nature, explores the manner in which Anthropos takes the initiative based on the breaking of the binary model. In this case, Gaia not only promises multiple values but also starts from specific Anthropos to drive common actions. Overall, Latour's interpretation of the Gaia hypothesis provides new perspectives for understanding activities and combination patterns of different actants, and serves as new solutions to environmental problems in the new era.

Performance-Aspiration Gap and Corporate R&D Investment: Re-estimation Based on Generalized Propensity Score Matching
LI Kongyue, WANG Yu, LIU Xinheng
    2022, 24 (2):  15-24.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.003
    Abstract ( 323 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (1031KB) ( 568 )
Based on a sample of China's listed corporates from 2009 to 2018, combined with the method of generalized propensity score matching (GPSM) and various robustness tests, theoretical analysis as well as empirical testing on the relationship between corporate performance-aspiration gap and its R&D investment were conducted, which effectively solved the existing endogenous problems in the previous research. It was found that corporates' performance-aspiration gap is beneficial to corporate R&D investment, and the historical performance-aspiration gap has a significant inverted U-shaped effect on corporate R&D investment, while the relationship between industrial performance-aspiration gap and corporate R&D investment is linear. Besides, the heterogeneity test shows that both the CEO-chairman duality and the degree of regional marketization play a significant positive regulatory role in this relationship.

    Abstract ( 181 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (1292KB) ( 635 )
Platform enterprises promote the forming of a platform ecosystem. Different value networks in the platform ecosystem can provide innovative resources for the innovation ability of platform enterprises. The typical case description method is used to discuss the evolution logic of value networks and innovation ability. The results show that based on the process of “value proposition-value creation-value acquisition”, driven by user demands, platform enterprises construct value networks, and use innovative resources in the platform ecosystem, and form the innovation ability, and driven by technologies, the above innovation ability makes the value networks upgrade iteratively again. The different value networks with “users”, “partners” and “competitors” as the core help to promote the demand insight ability, collaborative innovation ability and aggregation ability respectively.

Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Employees' Pro-environmental Behavior: From the Dual In-role and Extra-role Perspective
    WANG Yufei, TIAN Hong
    2022, 24 (2):  34-43.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.005
    Abstract ( 203 )   HTML ( 3)   PDF (1064KB) ( 354 )
For a long time, there has been a certain degree of disconnection between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employees' pro-environmental behavior (PEB). In view of this, the relevant content of goal hierarchy theory and social psychology are introduced from the micro perspective of CSR, and a theoretical framework is constructed based on “organizational intervention—goal consistency—pro-environmental behavior” in order to explore the mechanism between CSR and employees' PEB. The results show that CSR association and participation have significant positive effects on employees' in-role and extra-role PEB. The impact of CSR association on employees' extra-role PEB is greater than employees' in-role PEB, the impact of CSR participation on employees' in-role PEB is greater than employees' extra-role PEB, and self-concordance may play a full intermediary role between the independent variables and dependent variables.

Knowledge Structure and Dynamic Evolution of Work-Family Conflict Research in China Based on Bibliometrics
ZHANG Lanxia, ZHANG Zhuo, WANG Lele
    2022, 24 (2):  52-61.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.007
    Abstract ( 190 )   HTML ( 1)   PDF (3746KB) ( 614 )
In order to explore the theoretical system and research context of work-family conflict in China, and to sort out the hot topics and future trends in the field of work-family conflict, the bibliometrics method was used to analyze the keyword co-occurrence, clustering and strategic coordinates of 303 articles in the database of CSSCI/Core Journals/CSCD from 2002 to 2020 by using Pajek, Vosviewer and other software. It was found that the research of work-family conflict in China has experienced about 20 years of development and achieved some research results. At present, there are three research hotspots in the field of work-family conflict-work-family two-way conflict, balance and practice, and work-family two-way promotion. Accordingly, the research vein of “exploring conflict results, alleviating conflict results and exploring conflict causes” has been formed.

Grassroots Practice and Optimization Strategy of Comprehensively Carrying out the “Multi-tasker” System of Village-level Organization Leaders: Based on an Investigation of L Town in Northern Province
    CAO Zhili, CAO Haijun
    2022, 24 (2):  62-70.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.008
    Abstract ( 187 )   HTML ( 3)   PDF (961KB) ( 310 )
Currently, grassroots party construction in the rural governance in China has become more and more prominent. Under this background, the comprehensive “multi-tasker” system of village-level organization leaders has turned to be an important tool to promote rural revitalization and development and stimulate rural governance vitality in the new era, gradually achieving a top-down policy consensus. Based on an investigation of the practice in L Town in Northern Province, it is shown that the grassroots government adopts multiple ways to comprehensively complete the work of the “multi-tasker” system of village-level organization leaders. Comprehensive implementation of the “multi-tasker” system of village-level organization leaders has to face obvious higher pressure and underlying demands. Meanwhile, L Town adopts the mobilization strategy of combining “emotion” and “reason”, and interweaving the formal and informal. However, the practice in L Town also shows that comprehensive implementation of the “multi-tasker” system of village-level organization leaders is still confronted with such difficulties as grassroots election, local governance and administrative efficiency. In this regard, efforts can be made from legislative amendment, incentive mechanism, party construction services and strength cultivation so as to optimize the system, impetus, public opinion and organizational basis for the operation of the “multi-tasker” system of village-level organization leaders.

    LIU Qiangqiang, BAO Guoxian
    2022, 24 (2):  71-80.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.009
    Abstract ( 173 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (1015KB) ( 165 )
Whether environmental accountability policies can improve environmental governance performance is one of the hot issues in academic research in recent years, but the conclusions are not consistent. Therefore, a Meta-analysis method was used to systematically analyze 62 selected literatures on the relationship between environmental accountability and environmental governance performance. It was found that in general environmental accountability policies have a significant positive effect on environmental governance performance, and the average effect size on air, water and solid waste governance is 0.067, 0.050 and 0.094 respectively, indicating that this effect is limited. In terms of the overall effect relationship, research method, sample level and study category play a moderating role. On the whole, the differences between the conclusions of existing studies are integrated and the research evidence is provided for the improvement of environmental accountability policies in the next step.

Impact Mechanism of Spatial Capital and Social Capital on Public Participation: Based on Chinese Social Survey 2017
    GUO Yuchen, WU Yue
    2022, 24 (2):  81-90.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.010
    Abstract ( 142 )   HTML ( 1)   PDF (1114KB) ( 260 )
Disorderly participation will reduce efficiency in space production, increase individual inequality and social stratification in the process of rapid urbanization. Aiming to explore the reasons for the decrease of public participation willingness and behaviors, a theoretical framework is constructed with the concept that “spatial capital and social capital can affect public participation through behavioral attitudes”. Based on Chinese Social Survey (CSS) 2017, how “individual and market economic conditions, population density, land resources” at the spatial level and “social trust” at the social level could affect “institutionalized, confrontational, and consultative” participation through individuals' attitudes is systematically examined. It is found that raising land resources retention, increasing individual income, and enhancing social trust can bring institutional participation behaviors. Reduced income and lower social trust can lead to confrontational participation. Consultative participation is positively related to land resources and population density, and negatively related to social trust. Meanwhile, behavioral attitude mediates spatial capital and social capital with public participation.

Research on the System of Share Repurchase
    PI Zhengde
    2022, 24 (2):  91-99.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.011
    Abstract ( 144 )   HTML ( 3)   PDF (959KB) ( 321 )
The conceptual core of the capital maintenance principle should be transformed to protect the preferential distribution subordination of creditors. Under this philosophy, the liberalization of share repurchase regulation is an inevitable trend under the pressure of commercial innovation, as the theory of interests weighing shows the possibility to properly deal with the interests of all parties. Under the type theory, China's repurchase system lacks not only sound procedural rules, but also such criteria as financial resources and price. Taking an ex-post perspective to improve the system with behavioral strategies is a better choice. Drawing on solvency test, based on China's reality, decision power should be given to directors. The gap between repurchase process and capital reduction or treasury stock should be bridged. The subjects of liability for improper repurchase should be the directors and the repurchasing shareholders. This path achieves a balance between commercial efficiency and transaction security on the basis of giving the maximum freedom to all parties.

Reinterpretation of Directors' Duties and Liabilities with Artificial Intelligence Intervening in the Board of Directors
    CHENG Wei
    2022, 24 (2):  100-108.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.012
    Abstract ( 157 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (962KB) ( 307 )
The realistic application of artificial intelligence intervening in the board of directors is mainly to assist and enhance the decision-making mode of the board of directors. The dominant position of human decision-making power has not changed, but the environment and ecology of decision-making have changed. The problem of duty evasion and fuzzy responsibilities of board members becomes more prominent. The traditional fiduciary duty content and liability mechanism for the breach of trust cannot accurately respond to the impact of intelligent algorithm, so it is necessary to reconstruct the duty system and liability mechanism. In terms of the update for artificial intelligence after the intervention of company law mechanism, on the one hand, the supervision as well as faith duty strengthening and the synergy of its compliance duties into concrete will be conducive for the board of directors to realize the corporate governance performance and the continuous execution of duties. On the other hand, the objectivity of responsibility identification and the determination of specific responsibility subjects will provide guidance for possible adverse consequences.

Detailed Comparison of Shareholders' Agreement Systems Between China and the United States
    WANG Zhenzhen
    2022, 24 (2):  109-117.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.013
    Abstract ( 150 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (966KB) ( 128 )
Detailed comparison is a methodology in the process of perfecting legal systems. Applying the method to the comparative study of shareholders' agreement system can comprehensively reveal the functions of shareholders' agreements. In terms of closely held corporation, China and the United States share a common legislative purpose, both of which allow flexibility in the management of such companies based on efficiency and cost. However, shareholders' agreements have a different status in the corporate law system of the two countries. Shareholders' agreement in Chinese corporate laws is an exception to the resolution mechanism of shareholders' meetings, but an exception to the board centrism in the United States. The content and procedures of shareholders' agreements in American laws are relatively clear, while the outcome of shareholders' agreements in Chinese laws is uncertainty. The historical evolution of shareholders' adjustment to power distribution through shareholders' agreements in American corporate laws reflects the deepening of laws' understanding of corporate governance mechanisms and the nature of corporate law norms. Accordingly, China should set clear rules about shareholders' agreements while revising corporate laws.

From Legal Enlightenment to Economic Enlightenment: Marx's Critique and Surpass of European Enlightenment
    LIU Bingjing
    2022, 24 (2):  118-123.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.014
    Abstract ( 141 )   HTML ( 1)   PDF (914KB) ( 202 )
The relationship between Marx and European Enlightenment is a basic issue in Marxism research. Marx as a young man was influenced by European Enlightenment, and he affirmed its principles of rationality and freedom and its legal plan to realize human rights. However, Smith, Ricardo provided another economic enlightenment plan, revealing that what constituted the legal enlightenment and promoted the enlightenment goal lay in the capitalist economic activities. Therefore, with his in-depth studies on political economics, Marx not only revealed the realistic premise and historical limits of the Enlightenment, but also truly formed a project to surpass the Enlightenment when he no longer directly criticized it. Because the Enlightenment is a historical product within capitalism, the way to surpass it can only be realized in the critique of capitalism. The relationship between Marx and European Enlightenment should be reopening on the basis of abandonment.

A Comparative Study Between the State of Nature and Marx's Theory of “Three Forms”
    LIAN Yuanhao
    2022, 24 (2):  124-131.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.015
    Abstract ( 170 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (943KB) ( 242 )
Marx's theory of “Three Forms” on the development of human society fully revealed the multistep progress of civilization. Looking back to the theory of the state of nature from the modern Enlightenment, there also existed the views of social progress from low to high. The comparison of the two views on social progress showed that the theory of the state of nature is only based on the dogmatism of reason when judging social progress, the measure of social progress remains in the return of morality, and the exploration of the trends of social progress is shackled in the eternal nature. However, the theory of “Three Forms”, taking practice as the logical starting point, judges social progress according to the levels of productivity, measures social progress with the evolution of production relationships as the core, and explores the trends of social progress from the whole of the world history. Thus, the change of forms based on historical consciousness goes beyond the narrow view of the bourgeois scholars.

The Interpretation of “Manifest Domesticity” in Adventure
    MA Xin, WANG Zhe
    2022, 24 (2):  132-138.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.016
    Abstract ( 223 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (940KB) ( 115 )
Adventure has been regarded as Jack London's most racist novel. It was written at the time when America had declared the closure of its frontier and launched overseas expansion. By shaping the image of Joan Lackland, Adventure opens up new gender space for colonial adventure narrative, highlights the domesticity role of the New Woman in stabilizing colonial “home” and constructing national discourse, and represents the essence of capital expansion of “Manifest Domesticity”. With the help of romance narration, Adventure implies the effective colonial ruling model shared by imperialist countries, leading readers to pay attention to the geopolitics of South Pacific. Adventure is of far-reaching significance for studying the hybridity of London's ideas of socialism, racism and nationalism, and exploring the paradoxical relationship between American overseas expansion and its “progressive” ideas.

A Critique of Binary Opposition in Nabokov's Lolita from the Perspective of Emotional Cognition
    GUAN Haijia
    2022, 24 (2):  139-144.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.017
    Abstract ( 188 )   HTML ( 2)   PDF (918KB) ( 621 )
Most previous studies on Lolita attribute Humbert's tragic ending to his lack of reason. However, his binary opposition, deemed as a representation of reason, is the leading cause of his tragic ending that cannot be underestimated. Humbert's binary knowledge of himself has led to his psychological disorder and conflicting self-recognition. His binary knowledge of the world, which does not cover the grey zone of different categories, not only gives birth to the cognitive biases but also undermines the objects being evaluated. In fact, emotional cognition compensates for the limitations of rigid reason and represents the narrative artistry of the novel.

On the Subjective Intention Arc of Audio Language Creation in the Age of Intelligent Media
    XIA Xiaochen
    2022, 24 (2):  145-150.  DOI: 10.15936/j.cnki.1008-3758.2022.02.018
    Abstract ( 162 )   HTML ( 1)   PDF (6979KB) ( 318 )
Dreyfus's idea of non-representational intelligence poses a great challenge to the representation of artificial intelligence. As one of the impacts of artificial intelligence in the age of intelligent media, the creation of audio language may also be characterized by non-representation. The creation works of auditory language in the category of aesthetic space are the body mapping under the neural network and the connection between the body and the world. This connection is the idea of intention arc without representation. It not only exists in the process of audio language creation, but also is the high-level pursuit of audio language creation works. It shows the dialectical relationship among intelligence, perception and intuition, and may become a breakthrough of the mode and substitution of audio language creation works in the age of intelligent media.
