凸方法和区间法在可靠性设计中的对比分析

摘要: 基于对区间非概率可靠性模型和凸集非概率可靠性模型下的非概率可靠性指标的对比分析,通过理论推导和图形分析得到两种方法下的非概率可靠性指标具有一致性,即区间法非概率可靠性指标认为可靠,基于凸方法的非概率可靠性指标必然认为可靠,但反之则未必成立.基于区间法比基于凸方法的非概率可靠性指标对可靠性的判断偏保守,从而得到凸方法是一种更符合实际工况的非概率可靠性计算方法等结论,同时通过对两种方法的非概率可靠性指标的数值算例结果进行比较,也验证了这一结论.

Abstract: A contrastive analysis of non-probabilistic reliability index was made theoretically and graphically between the relevant interval model and convex set model. It was found that there is a unidirectional consistence between the non-probabilistic reliability indices determined by two different arithmetics, i.e., the interval arithmetic and convex arithmetic. It means that if an index is thought to be reliable by the interval arithmetic, the index is necessarily thought to be reliable by the convex arithmetic as well but not vice versa. However, the interval arithmetic is relatively conservation than the convex one in judging the reliability on index basis, and a conclusion is therefore drawn that the convex arithmetic is more practical in production/engineering. The conclusion is further proved through the comparison of non-probabilistic reliability index obtained by the two arithmetics.
