Abstract: The flow field of the nozzle manifolds and water supply pipes in an advanced cooling system was analyzed by the finite element method according to field data. The flow states of nozzle manifolds were compared under the conditions of different diameters and different inlet flow velocities of distribution pipes, thus the optimal diameter of the distribution pipe was obtained to satisfy the demand of nozzle manifolds, which guarantees the uniform flow state of nozzle manifolds. In addition, the steady flow state of multilayer damping nozzle manifold was studied. Within the equipment capacity, the outlet flow velocities of nozzle manifolds were uniform, with the standard deviation ranging from 00982 to 02692.
