Dynamic Similarity Design Method of Distortion Experimental Model for Multiaxial Rotor System

Abstract: A dynamics similarity design method of distortion experimental model for multiaxial rotor-bearing system was proposed on the basis of the Riccati transfer matrix method and the critical speed sensitivity of system parameters.The prototype system spindle was simplified into distortion model upon the sensitivity, then the distortion model was revised and designed into dynamics similarity scaled model. Taking air compressor high-pressure rotor as an example, the critical speed and the inherent characteristics were calculated upon the Riccati transfer matrix method. By comparing the characteristics of the prototype with that of the scaled model, the validity and practicability of the proposed method were verified.
