A group decision-making method with multi-granularity uncertain linguistic information

Abstract: To solve the group decision-making problem with multi-granularity uncertain linguistic information, the arithmetic of uncertain linguistic is used to calculate every decision maker's uncertain linguistic information of alternatives. The possibility degree matrices are calculated according to the definition on the possibility degree of comparing uncertain linguistic information. The OWA (ordered weighted averaging) aggregation operator is used to aggregate the derived possibility degree matrices, and the ranking value of each alternative is obtained. Finally, the feasibility and validity of proposed method are illustrated by a practical example.
