Abstract:

Cultural modernization is the deep integration process and result presentation between modernization development and modern transformation of culture. The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation， and the wisdom crystallization and essence of the Chinese civilization. Through modernization， we can better promote the creative transformation and innovative development of China’s excellent traditional culture， and provide endogenous power and spiritual support for Chinese modernization. To achieve modernization of traditional culture， we must adhere to the guidance of the “second combination” on the fundamental path， activate the excellent factors in traditional culture with Marxism and endow them with new contemporary connotations， ensuring the socialist direction of modernization of traditional culture； on the dialectical path， it is necessary to follow the method of dialectical unity thinking， and inherit， transform， and enrich the development of traditional culture while adhering to the unity of contemporaneity and historicity， “constancy” and “change”， and national and global characteristics； on the development path， innovative means should be used to promote the modernization and leap of traditional culture in terms of content form and industrialization through reform innovation， technological innovation， and information intelligence innovation.
