On the Philosophical Implications of Cultural Flourishing and Development in the New Era

Abstract:

Culture is the lifeblood of a nation and the spiritual driving force for national development. The Communist Party of China promotes the flourishing and development of culture in the new era, adhering to a people-centered value stance, committed to serving the people’s cultural needs, upholding the people’s principal position, and ensuring the people’s shared enjoyment of culture. It adheres to dialectical scientific thinking, grasps the basic laws of cultural development, and continuously promotes cultural prosperity and development by maintaining the unity of social development’s identification and guidance, the inheritance and innovation of fine traditional Chinese culture, and the unity of self-transcendence and leading the world in cultural construction. It adheres to a systematic approach to overseeing the overall situation of development, consolidates the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field, sticks to the path of cultural development with Chinese characteristics, and practices the order and norms of socialist core values. It seizes the initiative in history, accurately positions culture, grasps the direction of development, and promotes the progress of civilizations to steer the course of cultural prosperity.
