Reliability Allocation of CNC Machine Tools Based on Failure Information and Fuzzy Mathematics

Abstract: Based on the fuzzy mathematics and the failure information, a reliability allocation method for CNC machine tools was proposed. First, the fault record data of a type of CNC machine tools were sorted out, and the whole machine system was divided into ten subsystems. Then, the reliability functions for the whole system and the subsystems were established according to the statistical collation of the failure records. An allocation model of the failure rate based on the fuzzy mathematics and entropy weight methods was thus developed with four factors considered. This method can solve the reallocation of the machine’s reliability, thus enhancing the reliability of the whole system.
