Abstract: A method for intuitionistic uncertain linguistic multi-attribute group decision making is proposed in consideration of attribute correlations. First, some basic concepts and terminologies of intuitionistic uncertain linguistic variables are introduced, and the distance formula for intuitionistic uncertain linguistic variables is given. Then, based on the direct relationship matrices of the attribute sets, the weight of each attribute is determined by using DEMATEL method. And the experts’ decision matrices are aggregated into the group decision matrix. Furthermore, the positive (negative) ideal point vector is constructed, and the weighted distance between each alternative and the positive (negative) ideal point vector is calculated based on the proposed distance formula. On this basis, the similarity coefficient of each alternative is calculated. The ranking of alternatives is obtained. Finally, to illustrate the feasibility and potential application of the proposed method, an empirical analysis of selecting the risk response strategy for a project is given.
